What are the types of sandblasting nozzles? For example, there are straight hole types, angle types, and so on. So, what are their functions? Take the straight hole sandblasting nozzle as an example. The internal structure of this type of sandblasting nozzle is not very complex and is easy to operate. However, it also has some drawbacks, such as the inability of such nozzles to overcome eddy current problems.
Venturi sandblasting nozzle: The internal structure of the Venturi sandblasting nozzle consists of three parts: a contraction section, a straight section, and a diffusion section, making it difficult to manufacture. The dynamic performance of the Venturi nozzle is better than that of the straight hole nozzle, and the vortex phenomenon is significantly improved; The pressure loss is significantly reduced. Under the same pressure conditions, the outlet velocity of the abrasive of the straight hole nozzle is increased by more than twice, the working efficiency is increased by 15-40%, and the abrasive consumption is reduced by 20%
Double Wen sandblasting nozzle: The double Wen sandblasting nozzle is composed of two nozzles before and after, which generate a negative pressure due to the high-speed airflow and suck the surrounding air into the nozzle; Causes the amount of air sprayed to be greater than the amount of air inhaled. The sandblasting area of the dual Venturi nozzle is 35% larger than that of the Venturi nozzle, and the outlet velocity of the sandblasting medium is reduced. This type of nozzle is often used for large areas of medium strength surface treatment.
Angle sandblasting nozzle: Changes the direction of abrasive movement and can be used to clean the truss, flange back, inner surface of rigid pipes and other difficult to clean parts of steel structures such as bridges and towers. There are 1, 2, and 3 commonly used holes for angle nozzles, and the angle between the centerline of the hole and the axis of the nozzle is 45 degrees/90 degrees/135 degrees, which can meet the needs of different construction sites and workpiece processing of different shapes.
